FAQ

What are the general terms of hire?

Mostly our equipment can be dry-hired, but any items that are Simulated or Fully Practical would require an attending engineer/technician/operator to ensure full value.

Is the equipment practical?

Some of the equipment offered for hire can be practical, if desired.

Two types exist:

1. Fully 'original' practical - this is at the hirer's risk with regards to reliability. Much of the equipment is over 35 years old with attendant reliability issues. Golden Age will make best endeavour to achieve high reliability. To date this has been a successful option for many.

2. Simulated practical - using embedded modern equipment or a combination of original and modern. This is usually the best option for simple camera viewfinder shots and the like.
